Head of Mental Health and Learning Disability Improvement

Andrea is the Head of Mental Health and Learning Disability Improvement, overseeing policy implementation, service development and quality improvement within mental health and learning disability services.

Andrea brings a wealth of experience, having held various roles in delivering and managing mental health services, including forensic and community mental health services. Andrea qualified as a systemic and family therapist in 2001 and has also held a position in Welsh Government as the Mental Health Legislation Manager.

Andrea is committed to using the best available evidence and data to inform and drive service improvement and is passionate about putting what matters to service users, their families, and carers at the heart of the design and delivery of services.
