Health and Care Research Wales

Health and Care Research Wales is a networked organisation, supported by Welsh Government, which brings together partners across NHS Wales, local authorities, universities, research institutions, third sector and others.

We provide funding to NHS Wales to support the development and delivery of research for the benefit of patients and the public. We also provide a funded community to support and increase capacity in research and development and we run a range of responsive funding schemes.

We work together to promote research into diseases, treatments, services and outcomes that lead to discoveries and innovations which can improve and save people’s lives.
