Poster opportunity: Showcase your evidence informed practice in mental health services in Wales

The NHS Wales Executive is offering a unique opportunity to showcase evidence informed practice around person-centred and needs led improvements in mental health in Wales.

As part of the Wales Mental Health Leadership Exchange, experts by occupation and experience will be gathering for a two-day conference in Aberystwyth. The NHS Wales Executive is inviting teams and individuals, from across health, social care, education and the Third Sector, including individuals or groups with lived-experience, to submit posters to showcase evidence informed practice at the event taking place 3 - 4 April 2025.

Submitting a poster is an opportunity to nationally highlight the improvement work your team has undertaken that is having a positive impact on experience and outcomes.

Charlotte Thomas, National Programme Lead, Strategic Programme for Mental Health, said: “Submitting a poster for our poster gallery at the NHS Wales Leadership Exchange is a fantastic opportunity to share evidence informed practice with experts by occupation and experience from across Wales. Promoting local learning and improvement is a fundamental part of shaping national improvement that enhances experiences and outcomes for our population in Wales. We are hopeful the posters will inspire thought provoking conversations about person-centred and needs led transformation during the event.”

Posters are invited around themes such as ‘transforming the community mental health system’, ‘redefining the mental health workforce’ and ‘systematic implementation of PROMs and PREMS’.
