As part of the Wales Mental Health Leadership Exchange, experts by occupation and experience will be gathering for a two-day conference in Aberystwyth. The NHS Wales Executive is inviting teams and individuals, from across health, social care, education and the Third Sector, including individuals or groups with lived-experience, to submit posters to showcase evidence informed practice at the event taking place 3 - 4 April 2025.
Submitting a poster is an opportunity to nationally highlight the improvement work your team has undertaken that is having a positive impact on patient experience and outcomes. The poster content will feed into discussions over the course of the event.
All posters submitted will be displayed at the event and in an online gallery.
The posters must be based on one of the following themes/ sub themes:
Theme 1: Transforming the community mental health system, including:
Open access care
Person-centred, recovery oriented, trauma informed practice
Place based, connected community health services
Theme 2: Redefining the mental health workforce
Theme 3: The systematic implementation of PROMs/PREMs in mental health services to support and demonstrate person-centred care
Notification of interest form to be completed up until Friday 14 March.
Posters to be submitted to NHSWE.SPMH@wales.nhs.uk in the PowerPoint template by no later than 14:00 on Friday 21 March.
Posters will be displayed at the event from 3-4 April.
Attendance at the event is not essential, we can share your contact details with people if they wish to follow up.
