We’re delighted to announce the winners of the NHS Wales Awards 2024, celebrating quality improvement work that has transformed the experience and outcomes for people in Wales. The awards were presented at a ceremony attended by NHS Wales staff in Cardiff last night (Thursday 24 October 2024).
The 2024 awards launched in March with 12 brand new categories, aligned with the Duty of Quality and Health and Care Quality Standards 2023.175 entries were submitted with three entries shortlisted for each category, reviewed by a panel of judges. The winner of the NHS Wales Sir Mansel Aylward Person-Centred Care Award was voted for by peers within NHS Wales with the winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Healthcare Improvement Award selected from the 12 category winners.
This marks the sixteenth NHS Wales Awards, hosted by Improvement Cymru, NHS Wales Executive.
