Welcome

Our purpose is to drive the implementation of Welsh Government’s key policy requirements, including the development of Quality Statements for Heart Conditions, Stroke and Vascular Disease, addressing any unwarranted variation of care in clinical services. 

We work with partners at the interface of primary, secondary and tertiary care to provide improved care and outcomes for people of all ages at risk of, or affected by, cardiovascular conditions.

Our national programmes and implementation networks are our mechanism to support improvement, change (including innovation and value) and delivery.
